Barack Obama is Going to Fix the Economy Once He's President, Right?
By Paul C. Davis
Come next year we will have a new president of the United States of America named Barack Obama. He will be sworn in at a time of great economic turmoil. Not since the Great Depression have we seen such large scale financial impact to our banking industries.
Massive economic recovery packages have been put into place that directly impact your personal finances. Hundreds of billions of dollars are of government money funded by the taxpayers have been put into play and nobody knows for certain how this will impact them come next year. Many feel that this was a necessary step to save the US economy from collapse. Others think it was a huge waste of time, effort and money.
Everyone will be looking to the new president for what steps he is going to take to improve the situation and pull the US out of the current recession. But will he be able too? Does he have the ability to reduce the enormous unemployment rate that currently exists? Will he be able to save the Big 3 in the auto industry? What is he going to do about the massive foreclosure rate in the housing market and the continuing increase in mortgages not being paid.
He has a big job ahead of him, and he's going to need all the support he can get. I don't know about you but I have a very strong interest and opinion on whether or not he can do it. I'm sure that you do as well.
